Graduate Engineer - Immediate Start

We are looking for a Graduate Engineer with a systems engineering mindset to provide system verification support for projects and ensure projects comply to standards. The role will additionally include the maintenance of the requirements and system design of Saluda products in accordance to procedures.

You are have recently completed your studies and are looking forward to a career as an Engineer in Medical Device Product Development. You are known as a team player with excellent communication skills. About the role:

  • Plan, manage and implement system engineering activities in projects
  • Ensure the system meets internal needs and international standards by direct execution of V&V activities including development of Plans, Protocols and Reports
  • Report progress of testing activities into projects
  • Automate and improve efficiency of testing methodologies.
  • Write technical reports and presentations when appropriate
  • Collaborate with several engineering disciplines including Software, Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing engineering to ensure effective design.
  • Work with Quality, Clinical and Regulatory teams to ensure product complies to requirements and expectation of regulatory bodies.
  • Help to improve System Engineering practices.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand complex systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment 
  • Understands stakeholder engagement, able to work with others across disciplines

Desirable Requirements:

  • Engineering experience in product development in a regulated industry
  • Exposure to Systems Engineering or an interest in multiple disciplines of engineering.
  • Strong understanding of requirements development, Verification and Validation.
  • Experience in programming in python.
  • Experience using electrical and mechanical test equipment
  • Understanding of the regulatory approval process for medical device designs  
  • Knowledge of medical device standards
  • Exposure to the Neuromodulation industry
