About the role?
Based in our Head Office in Botany, we are looking for a dynamic person interested in playing an interdisciplinary role in direct support of the managing director and executive management team to support the coordination of all strategic activities for Schindler Lifts Australia. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking for a career path to develop them into a management role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordination of board calendars and meetings
- Preparation of documentation / communications, presentations for meetings and capturing meeting minutes
- Coordination of branch reviews and visits for the managing director and executive management members
- Conducting research and analysis on strategic topics (digitization, competitors, partners, macroeconomics, global trends, technology, etc.)
- Monitoring implementation of strategic initiatives and updating the executive management team as required
To be successful in this role you will be familiar working in a complex customer focused and operational environment with competing needs and you will be confident in your ability to triage priorities, take directions and navigate a broad scope of work. You will also possess a high level of business intelligence and commercial acumen.
You will also demonstrate a willingness to support other executive members in the business and be an active part of a fluid and supportive team and assist when needed. As you will be dealing at senior levels of the organisation and externally, you will possess an ability to model the behaviours aligned with excellent customer service in all aspects of your professional engagement. Tertiary qualifications in business, management or engineering qualifications are essential.
