The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre.

Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre (CNC) is a supportive inclusive Neighbourhood House that promotes community connection and well-being through life-long learning, friendship and support. We are seeking individuals who can contribute to developing our Centre into a thriving community-led organisation.

CNC is soon to move into a new facility that provides significant opportunities for growth. We have a vision, and we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who have a passion to develop the Centre's role in the local community to join our marketing team.

About you: You have creative flair, good social media content creation skills, and real desire to make a difference and contribute to your community. You’ll be working with a small supportive team to establish a strong social media presence that complements and enhances our print media and website. Some basic website skills are a bonus, but not essential.

This is a great opportunity to work with a community organisation committed to building a sense of Neighbourhood and community and raising awareness of local activities and services.
