As a member of the Committee contribute to the oversight of the organisation and its strategy development Take responsibility for specific strategic initiatives, as agreed with the Committee Ensure Centre Coordinator and Management Committee understand the current and future financial position of Gailes Community House Working with the Centre Coordinator, develop financial forecasts and budgets Oversee compliance with reporting and tax obligations Oversee efficient and effective financial procedures across the organisation Be one of several signatories on the bank accounts.
Essential Experience and Attributes
Qualification in finance or accounting Demonstrated experience in financial management and planning roles. Working with a Not for Profit, start-up organisation, or working with a board of directors or committees Able to develop good relationships internally and externally Able to work collaboratively with other Committee Members Willing to contribute on average 10-12 hours per month Acceptable criminal history check
