The Stanley Black & Decker Leadership Program (SLP)

The SLP is a program is a program designed to develop and accelerate the future generation of Stanley Black & Decker Leaders. This is a multi-year program offering early career professionals the opportunity to gain relevant and quality work experience matched with offering high-potential, early-career associates the opportunity to complement quality work experiences with challenging competency based learning experiences and exposure to challenging learning and development experiences.

About you!

You are a strong communicator who loves engaging with people and building a strong rapport. You put the customer at the heart of everything you do whether this an internal or external stakeholder. You understand that every position has its challenges, therefore you are not just problem focused but are solution focused.

In addition you will:

  • Have completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in HR or similar.
  • Have recently graduated with no more than 3 years of professional experience
  • Be a quick learner who is open to learning new and diverse skills
  • Be interested in rotating between several different areas of HR
  • Possess core values which align with our own: Courage & Innovation, Agility & Performance, Inclusivity & Collaboration and Integrity & Accountability

What you will do:

Working in the HR stream you will be participating in a cross-functional learning curriculum to strengthen your skills and therefore be set up for success in future HR Leadership roles. Each rotation will offer you HR related projects to complete therefore assisting you to become familiar with the business and allow you to contribute to our business’ success.

  • Rewards and Recognition
