Engineering Graduate Program

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Civil or Structural Engineer Graduate to join our team and work on a variety of development projects that require design, approval, site inspection, and verification of development-affected services. 

Professional and technical training, mentoring, integrated experience, and on-the-job training/learning will be required for this position. You'll receive exposure to a variety of industries and work environments, as well as the experience you'll need for a long and successful career. 

You must have recently graduated or be in your last year of Civil or Structural Engineering to be considered for this position. You'll need a strong interest in working on water and sewer infrastructure, have great written and verbal communication skills, a strong sense of dedication, willingness to learn, and the desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven atmosphere. You must be able to communicate and collaborate well with Developers, other engineers, Constructors, and other team members 

We will also consider applicants who do not have an Engineering degree who are able to review architectural and structural drawings, proficient with AutoCAD, admin experience with building and construction industry, good communication skills, working with clients, work independently with attention to detail, compliance with codes, standards & procedures.

Design water, sewer mains, apply water/sewer codes (WASA), prepare Building Plans & approvals, Site inspect works are built to design & codes, manage jobs, prepare quotations. 

Full responsibilities of Water servicing coordinator to Sydney Water’s requirements. 

Working times are 37.5 hrs per week over 5 days per week.
