About Your Role

Be part of the exciting maritime industry working on large vessels. Our safety engineers have the opportunity to work across all engineering disciplines advising on safety in the design and review process. If you have recently completed your engineering degree and not sure where to take it, safety engineering could be a great opportunity to build a board skill set.

Your main duties as a Graduate Safety Engineer will be:

  • Assist with the development of a Preliminary Hazard List (PHI)
  • Assist with the development of a Hazard Log through identification of hazards and potential risk mitigations
  • Assist in the development of a Safety Case Reports and SFARP statements.
  • Contribute to the continuously improvement of the AWS System Safety Management System (SSMS) by monitoring, identifying and/or implementing changes and improvements

How About You?

  • Recently degree qualified in any Engineering discipline with a minimum credit average, or be in the final year of completing for graduation end of 2023
  • You are a natural leader and this shows though part time work or extra-curricular activities whilst studying university
  • You easily build relationships and have strong communications kills both written and verbal
  • You love working in a team environment and value diversity
  • You are curious by nature, focused on the result and love to keep continuously learning!
