The program is structured to give graduates the freedom to create their future with ownership over significant projects that will have a real and lasting impact.

The Arnott’s Finance team is responsible for accounting and reporting, tax and treasury, managing controls and risks, and strategic financial management, where data is turned into insights which enable business decisions to be made. Now is an exciting time to join the Finance team as technology platforms are implemented which enable increased analytics and streamline processes.

Learning Opportunities for graduates in Finance will be plentiful. You’ll gain insight into our growing and dynamic business, understand the core drivers of an FMCG business, and have the chance to see our annual planning process, learning about achieving short-term targets while delivering sustainable long-term growth. 

The following Finance positions will be available for Graduates in Sydney in 2023:


Financial Planning & Analysis Graduate

As a Graduate in The Arnott’s Group Finance team, you will be involved in: 

  • Reporting, Planning & Control - Monitor and review Quarterly forecasts, Planning Cycles and the Annual Operating Plan. 
  • Business Partnering – Business partner the Sales Team to evaluate and improve performance. 
  • Revenue Management – Support the long-term Revenue Growth Agenda for Australia Biscuits & Campbells. 
  • Promotional Cycle – end to end support to evaluate and manage customer promotions. 
  • Continuous Process Improvements – Identify opportunities to improve how we work through automation and process excellence. 

Degrees: Commerce, Business, Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.  


Supply Chain Financial Analysis Graduate

As a Graduate in The Arnott’s Group Supply Chain Finance team, you will be involved in: 

  • Operational and capital reporting 
  • Overhead analysis and budgeting 
  • Process improvement/Ad hoc project 
  • Standard costing analysis 

Degrees: Commerce, Business, Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields. 


Ingredients for Success 

The Arnott’s Graduate Program aims to develop future leaders who can make an impact. 

We are proud at The Arnott’s Group to have leadership competencies that form the basis of “how” we operate. Our graduate assessment centres will focus on these as they are the secret ingredient in achieving business results. The three competencies are:

  • Growing Talent | Adopting a growth mindset, coaching, and developing others, and actively seeking out feedback to build self-awareness.

Duration 

The 2023 Graduate Program will commence in February 2023 and run for 9 months.   

At the end of the 9 months, those graduates who demonstrate high performance and make a significant impact will be offered permanent positions. 


Key Dates   

Applications open on 25th July and close on 28th August.  

Virtual assessment centres will be conducted between 26 - 29 September and the Program will start in February 2023. 


Locations & Business Functions 

We have opportunities across Australia and New Zealand in the following locations: North Strathfield and Huntingwood in NSW, Shepparton in VIC, Marleston in SA, Virginia in QLD and Auckland in NZ. 

Other Business Functions we are hiring for include: Supply Chain, Engineering, Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy, Research & Development, Marketing, Digital & Technology, Sales and People & Culture.
