Corporate Social Responsibility


Transdev is at the heart of keeping communities moving. We connect families, friends, and future generations where they live, work and play, and help to move them around daily in ways that reduce the impact on our environment.

Public transport is at the heart of the creating sustainable cities and communities. With this in mind, we are seeking to shift the dial and embed our approach to corporate social responsibility into every aspect of our operations and broader business. Our four pillars of workplace, industry, community and environment guides us to ensure that we can have the greatest impact possible. We know that the only way to improve from where we are today is to honestly assess our current activities and practices and set a genuine direction for our future. That’s why we have developed an interactive workshop that is currently being rolled out across Australia and New Zealand to engage our people into the impact they can have as individuals and the greater impact we can have as an organisation.

  • Workplace pillar: To date we have developed and deployed our diversity and inclusion strategy that sets ambitious targets to better balance the representation of women in our workforce, attract the next generation of talent and celebrate our cultural diversity.
  • Marketplace: As part of a growing industry, we ensure that our code of ethics meet and exceed current legislative requirement.
  • Community: We are proud to have launched SPIRIT, Transdev’s workplace giving program where we match donations up to $100 per person per annum, this is our way to show that we care about what our people care about.
  • Environment: We are working on a robust environmental plan to minimise our impact on the environment.
