Defence & Social Infrastructure – Engineer Graduate

About the role:

Supporting a 25 year + relationship with Ventia’s Mornington Peninsula Council contract, Ventia are seeking an Engineer Graduate to join their team.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work on a range of essential and diverse projects, including Parks & Roadside, Furniture & Science and Building Maintenance. As well as other exciting opportunities including gaining exposure in the field!

Commencing mid-late July this position will see you responsible for monthly client reporting, developing planning / scheduling strategies for programs (mowing, tree programs etc) and driving efficiencies in how we deliver services.

About the Contract:

With more than 25 years of partnership with Mornington Peninsula Shire (MPS), the Shire comprises 723 square kilometres of urban, rural, and natural environments, including 196 kilometres of iconic coastline. We manage the Shire’s buildings, public infrastructure, verges, parks, natural environment, cemeteries and more than 50 community sports fields – on behalf of 180,000 residents and millions of tourists.

About you:

To be eligible for these positions, you must meet the following criteria:

• Successfully completed a Engineering Degree (Environmental, Civil or Project Management) or similar within the last two years.
• Hold full work rights to work in Australia (PR, or Australian Citizen).
