The Graduate Accountant role is a structured development period designed to successfully train and support you to build your knowledge, confidence and independence. You will work closely with accountants, seniors and your manager to complete the following work:
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
- Preparation of BAS/IAS
- Preparation of budgets and cashflows
- Email support to clients
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
Who are you?
- You have finished or are close to finishing your Bachelor of Business, Commerce or equivalent and are ready to put these skills to the test
- You are positive, proactive and results orientated
- You can learn new things and demonstrate ability to apply accounting concepts
- You can communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbal
- You are a master at prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing your workload efficiently and can be counted on to meet your goals.
- You can identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and find effective solutions.
