Information Technology

This is a 2-year role, based in Sydney.

Property
Prepare to build your future
Anything is possible with this role. Imagine being part of a team providing the strategy and management that goes into purchasing, developing, and maintaining a fleet of over 3,500 stores and distribution centres. Don’t miss this chance.
What you’ll learn and experience
Your 2-year grad role includes rotations in Property Development (retail and non retail), Property Management, Asset Management and Network Planning.
From on the job training through to regular graduate workshops, the program aids in the development of commercial and retail property based skills.

Quality Assurance
Be part of a household name
Do you have a passion for food manufacturing and retail? Our grad roles give you the opportunity to join our technical team, working together with developers to ensure the highest quality and food safety standards for Woolworths products.
What you’ll learn and experience
Your passion for quality products will come to life through first-hand experiences at a store level and across global sourcing, manufacturing and technical teams in Quality, Sustainability and Health.

- Opportunity to network, create and collaborate on innovative products, which are targeted to the needs of our customers
- Ensure our products lead in Food Safety and Quality

Strategy, Insights and Customer Experience
Become a game changer
Ready to shape the retail world? This is your opportunity to join an experienced team with strong mentorship and help develop critical strategic initiatives for one of the most powerful retail groups in Australia.
What you’ll learn and experience
Your 2-year role will include 4-6 month rotations through our Customer Experience, Insights and Strategy teams to get a comprehensive view on how we drive business transformation and a customer first culture at Woolworths Group.

Requirements
- A passion for customers and understanding their shopping behaviours
- Outstanding academic record and social achievements
- Demonstrated structured problem solving and analytical skills; financial modelling
- Superb written and oral communication and the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with middle management stakeholders
- Leadership potential and the ability to work well in a team in pressured situations
- Retail experience is not essential, consumer market experience preferred
- You must be willing to relocate to Sydney for this position

Bachelor of Commerce, Economics, Business or Engineering preferred

Are you ready to go places? Have you chosen your grad role? Then the next step is to apply.
There might be slightly different application processes depending on the stream you apply for.
Assessments could include psychometric testing, cognitive tests, videos made by you, understanding your passion for retail, functional/technical knowledge, interviews and assessment centres.
You may also be asked to provide your academic transcript as well.
Pre-requisites
To make sure you’re the right fit for a 2020 Woolworths Grad role, there are just a few prerequisites.
- Be in your final year of study or have recently completed an undergraduate degree (within 2 years).
- Have demonstrated work experience, retail preferred but not essential.
- Be able to commence work full time from the role start date, February 2020.
- Currently living in Australia and able to participate in our selection process.
- Be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian / New Zealand citizen as at date of application.
- Willing to relocate to Sydney (if currently living interstate)
