What to expect from the recruitment process

Our recruitment process has several different stages. Each is an opportunity for you to show us a little bit more about what makes you, you.

Once you’ve submitted your online application, depending on the role we may send you a technical assessment, or an invitation to submit a quick video interview.

After this is done, we’ll let you know the next steps. For interviews or assessment days, we will bring you into the office, so you can see our environment and meet the team. Assessment days are a lot more fun and a lot more comprehensive than a regular interview, and the experience gives you a chance to decide if we’re the right place for you.

Grad days

For our successful developer and engineer applicants we’ll invite you to a grad day at Xero. It’s a lot more fun and a lot more comprehensive than a regular interview, and gives you a chance to decide if we’re the right place for you.

We have fewer roles available for our product design and accounting partner sales applicants, so we’ll invite you to one of our Xero offices for an interview.

Important dates

  • Applications for grad and intern roles open 2 March 2020
  • Grad applications close 27 April 2020
  • Intern applications close 31 July 2020
