Day 1 - Employers and Universities
Sessions, training and workshops will be run by employers and universities to share best practice on connecting returnee students back home. Below is an outline of the sessions provided for universities:
Morning Session
In this immersive and interactive professional development session, you will gain on-the-ground insight from local and international graduate program experts in areas including:

Market insight quiz – what do you know about the China, Hong Kong and SEA regions when it comes to how and why employers in these regions recruit graduate talent?

Comparison of graduate recruitment and development process – when compared to your home region.

An understanding of how to better prepare your international students who are returning back to these ‘home’ regions to work.

Networking with like-minded careers professionals to share experiences, initiatives and experiences when it comes to managing international students from these regions.
Afternoon Session
Keeping with the theme of region specific knowledge sharing, the afternoon session will build on the morning’s content, the proposed agenda will include:

‘World Café’ – a highly interactive, small group discussion activity with local and international subject matter experts to allow you to ask specific questions in a more intimate environment.

Panel Session (Employers) – get a first hand insight to hear from local employers representing a range of industries and sectors about their graduate recruitment and development strategies in this informal panel session.

Panel Session (Students) – hear directly from student alumni who are working in the region to understand more about their challenges, experiences and how to better set them up for success when returning home.
Day 2 - Exhibition for your students
A career fair will be run where employers will exhibit to meet the attending universities students who are already back home. It's important to note the following:

Any university attending the summit can invite their students to attend

Universities can get involved by either attending or encouraging their students to attend

Sponsorship opportunities are available for universities wanting to gain extra exposure to the employers attending
