I am currently studying Electrical Engineering with the intention of completing a sub-major in Power Engineering so that I can move into the energy and mining sector.\n\nElectrical Engineering for me was a natural progression from my 8 years that I spent as an Avionics Technician in the RAAF where I spent the majority of my time performing maintenance on various avionics components as well as conversing with engineers on a daily basis.\n\nI have a keen interest in electrical and computers and try to keep myself up to date with the latest technological advances through various media sources. I spend my spare time tinkering with software and hardware on computers as well as acclimatising myself with software that would be advantageous to me as an engineer.\n\nAfter completion of my degree, I will become an integral member within a team and a valuable asset to an industry that strives for excellence and has a track record for maintaining high standards and work ethos.
