Company Name:Work Experience at AUSCOAL Superannuation
Start - End Dates:
During this week of work experience I spent three days with the Financial Advisory team in Warners Bay where I saw how all facets of the business is run from contributions and benefits to sitting in on advisory meetings with clients. The final two days of the week I spent with the Investments team in Sydney where I sat in on a meeting with a perspective fund, visited the custodians and external asset consultant to experience how they fit in with AUSCOAL\u2019s overall management and structure. I also read through various tenders, reports and frameworks related to AUSCOAL. Overall I gained an insight into how a Superannuation fund is run and managed. This eye opening week cemented my view to work in the Superannuation and Financial Industry.
