About the role

As a Graduate Engineer, you'll support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level.

We are seeking applications for our 2025 Graduate program across all disciplines including structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, sustainability, hydraulics, facades, fire services, acoustics, chemical and energy.

You'll join established teams and be an active contributor to projects spanning defence, social infrastructure (health, education, justice, community), government, mixed-use, commercial, retail and multi-residential developments. In addition to hands on training, you'll join colleagues on our formal graduate development program which aims to grow and develop your career by offering additional training and development tools to understand how to be a successful consulting engineer.

While each day is different you can expect to:

  • Work with established engineers to understand project scopes and deliverables
  • Develop design projects or components of projects through all phases of design development
  • Attend client meetings alongside senior engineers as ACOR representation in project design meetings with external stakeholders
  • Participate in design and safety reviews and risk assessments

Skills and experience

We're looking for:

  • Recent, relevant engineering qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An interest in engineering design and project management
  • High level of organisational skills
  • Due to the nature of the projects in which we work, we are only able to consider applications from candidates with Australian Citizenship who are eligible for baseline security clearance.

Applications for our 2025 intake are open until 30th of June with assessments and interviews occurring in July and August 2024 with start dates negotiated with the successful applicants.
