Your career in Agronomy can start here......At Altora Ag we are seeking graduates or early career Agronomist to help with all aspects of our current business operations. This 24 month opportunity will see you working predominantly in the field with our experience agronomists.  You will be working with other graduate and early career agronomists along with our experienced senior team in supporting our Farm teams with their annual cropping cycle.

Your operating base will be in Temora where you will work closely with our established team of industry professionals however you will work across the Riverina in your first rotation. In your second rotation we want to offer you an opportunity to work in our merchandise business and partner with growers int he region to learn about their inputs and supply needs. 

What would you be working on?

  • Assist with field trials and help manage assessments.
  • Work with our senior agronomists to develop crop plans for the Altora Ag farms.
  • Assist with pest, disease, and moisture monitoring.
  • Scout crops for pest and disease issues and report findings.
  • Record and collate field  data and maintain data collection and management processes including entering acquired data into database.​

Prepare data summaries, reports, analysis that include results, charts, and graphs to document research findings and trend results.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Have recently completed a bachelor's degree, in Agriculture, Agricultural Science or related discipline OR currently completing final year.
