Your career in Agriculture can start here......At Altora Ag we are seeking graduates to join our farming operations graduate opportunity. This 24-month rotational program will see you working predominantly in the field with our experienced farm teams, and you will be working with other graduate and early career agronomists across the cropping cycle. From sowing, to managing pests and harvest there is never a dull moment on farm. 

Your operating base will be in the Riverina, and you will be assigned a role with one of our experienced Farm Managers.  You will work closely with our established team of farming operators and in your second-year rotation you will have an opportunity to work either in a different part of the country or another part of our support operations areas - perhaps our grain storage and handling team, or our logistics operations. 

What would you be working on?

  • Operating and maintain farm machinery, including tractors, forklifts, sprayers, and other equipment.
  • Assisting with planting, harvesting, and other farm operations as required.
  • Working on some of our leading-edge technology for operations of the farm and data management.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed and communicate any concerns to management.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Have recently completed a bachelor's degree, in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural Science or related discipline OR currently completing final year.
  • Be able to demonstrate a commitment to a career in Operations.
