Amazon’s Seller Services business spans all third-party merchant activity through the variety of services we offer: Selling on Amazon, Fulfillment by Amazon, Sponsored Products and Amazon Global Selling.

As an Account Manager Intern you will be working in the category teams, helping manufacturers and sellers launch and grow their business on Amazon.com.au

Key job responsibilities
Working within one of the fastest-growing areas of Amazon you will have the opportunity to work with merchants across a variety of different product categories. You will help businesses launch and grow on Amazon. In addition, you will also utilize customer feedback and data to drive improvements for existing products or processes, or help to launch new ones. To achieve this, you will collaborate with various teams across Amazon, including the category, product, operations, marketing, and technical support teams.

Basic qualifications

  • Open to candidates from all disciplines in the penultimate (second-to-last) year of their degree.
  • Passionate about sales, retail and helping Australian small and medium businesses grow.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle objections and negotiations.
  • People who are self-motivated, flexible, with a focus on maintaining the customer at the centre of everything you do.
  • Analytical skills are highly regarded at Amazon and within our team, as well as curiosity to learn.

Preferred qualifications

  • Some work experience - whether through placement years, internships or university.
  • Experience in data analysis – confident manipulating large sets of data, identifying trends and areas for new business growth (Excel and SQL skills are a plus!).

Please note: To be eligible for this program you will need to be available for the full internship period from early December 2024 to mid/late February 2025.
