Aster Alliance is the property partner to the non-bank, funds management, insolvency, and banking sectors across Australia and New Zealand. Aster specializes in the asset management of property for its customers which includes management of property valuations, building advisory, construction delivery and the management of the real estate sales process. As Aster’s property book continues to grow the requirement for a property administration officer has arisen in our Melbourne office.

Working closely with our operations team out of Melbourne and Sydney the successful applicant will be required to deliver the following tasks on a weekly basis.

  • Coordinate service of documents via our mercantile field agents for our legal and banking customers
  • Obtain insurance quotes for properties.
  • Assist with obtaining valuation agency appraisals
  • Provide regular updates on internal portal and on email to our customers
  • Coordinate lock changes for properties when evictions occur
  • Provide affidavit of service for customers
  • Assist project managers with tendering and submissions.
  • Order valuations for customers 
  • Provide invoicing instructions to finance team

This position would suit a highly driven person who is not afraid of hard work and for an individual who is looking to develop a career in the property sector and is looking for a generalist role that will expose them to all parts of the property process. 

The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate the following.

  • Strong computer skills
  • Comfortable working in an office environment
  • Work extra hours when required
  • Ability to develop relationships with existing customers
