“The AFP Graduate Program has provided me a unique experience in which I have been able to learn and develop different skills within multiple areas of the AFP in a short amount of time. I had vast opportunities for personal and professional development within and outside of the workplace, and was encouraged to explore these. Overall, my graduate year was a perfect introduction to the professional work environment, and has set me up well to progress and achieve a diverse working career.”

Grace

“The AFP Graduate Program has exposed me to not only a variety of teams, but diverse operational activities stretching across the entire organisation. This has afforded me the chance to experience different facets of Law Enforcement and ultimately discover areas in which I did not know I had a passion. The opportunities at the AFP have been endless and the most exciting thing I have learnt is that my career could go anywhere. A career with the AFP is not a single path, it is a road with many turnoffs, bridges, sidewalks and intersections. There is so much choice and your career will be full of adventure.”

Applying for the AFP Directions Program has been the best career decision I have made. Going into the Program I did not know what to expect or what direction I wanted my career to go in, but having the opportunity to experience different roles has given me a greater understanding of the mag…
