Engineering Technologist

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyse and      diagnose issues across different trade disciplines, identifying root      causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Quoting,      provide cost estimates for materials and labour
• Maintain      accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines      for documentation and future reference.
• Collaborating      with designers and engineers to develop detailed technical drawings and      plans for plastering projects.
• Coordinating      project schedules, resources, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion.
• Implement and      manage construction plans, schedules, and budgets on-site.
• Oversee      day-to-day operations, including quality control, safety compliance, and      workflow
• Implement and      monitor ITP's
• Lead the      implementation, monitoring, and documentation of SWMS’s and Procedures in      multiple work areas
• Manage all lots      in accordance with the Project QA system, including opening, closing,      testing and creating of material registers, lots are complete, up to date      and closed out expeditiously;
• Oversee the      generation of quality checklists for all work packages
• Ensure that all      relevant test results, inspections and records required under the Contract      and Specifications are captured
• Close out all      defects within the timeframe of Practical Completion nominated in the      Project Quality Plan
• Review      engineering / design documents to achieve clarification and compliance with      standards, specifications and codes as well as adequacy of design      documents for the purpose of construction
• Communicate      design details and quality requirements to supervisors and subcontractors.
