Data Science and Analytics Internship Program - Winter 2024

CareerDC Internships charge a fee for the coordination of each internship program. You will get a tailored resume, interview training, unlimited interviews, access to our network of host companies, an internship placement relevant to your studies, an accredited WIL course (where applicable) and support during your internship.

The Data Science and Analytics Internship Program is designed to give you practical work experience with local businesses.

It’s a good option for you if you want industry experience and academic credit for your internship. 

It’s an excellent option for international students in Australia who want to experience and learn in a local working environment with an Australian company. The internship program is also open to domestic students.

Have you already graduated? Or, what if an internship is not a requirement of your studies?

That’s okay. You can apply for the internship program and combine it with an accredited Work Integrated Learning (WIL) program.

To give you an example, the internship host companies include:

• a business in the safety industry,
• a long-standing utility services company, and
• an established management consultancy.

As another example, and depending on your host company, your Data Science and Analytics internship could get you to experience any combination of the following types of tasks: 

• assisting with gathering, cleaning and processing data, 
• assisting procurement and inventory with product data analysis,
• working with an experienced business analyst on a range of data alignment tasks,
• assisting with the development of scripts,
• supporting with records management processes,
• getting involved in system and support documentation, 
• conducting analysis for business process automation,
• building reports on performance and governance intervention, and
• dealing with reporting processes.

The internship program is facilitated by CareerDC, work experience placement coordinators.
