About Rous County Council
Rous County Council in located in the heart of the Northern Rivers with an operational footprint covering over 3,000km2. As a County Council, we are responsible for providing three specific functions; Bulk Water Supply, Weed Biosecurity and Flood Mitigation.

Your average workday will be kept busy by: - Advising and supporting managers and employees across a range of People and Culture related programs
- Influencing managers and leaders to promote, and employees to understand, the significance of workforce management strategies and positive organisational culture
- Applying your knowledge of legislation, industrial awards, agreements and instruments to support the organisation
- Analysing and interpreting workforce data to determine workforce strategy impacts
- Performing the role of Return to Work Coordinator and undertaking all aspects of the workers compensation claims process
