This 2025 IBL program, based in our Aftersales division, focuses on our Network Development and Training Academy team and commences mid-January 2025. You will need to commit to full-time office hours until end of January 2026. To qualify for this program, you must be an undergraduate student currently completing your penultimate year of study.  As at January 2025, you must have a remaining 12 months or 2 semesters of study to complete your degree. Ideally, you are studying a Business Management or similar degree.

The role:

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative university student to join the team as an IBL Network Development / Training Academy Assistant. Our 2025 IBL Program will expose you to real jobs, real experiences and real learning which will allow you to gain valuable workplace experience relevant to your chosen field of study. This 12-month opportunity, starting in 2025, is to learn and work alongside our experienced team of professionals across our Network Development and Training Academy teams, accelerating your learning and gaining valuable exposure to our brand and corporate values. Within this Network Development / Training Academy Assistant role, you will have an opportunity to immerse yourself in supporting our dealers and assisting in coordinating the Daimler Truck Training Academy and the Network Development team. We are responsible for supporting our industry-leading Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso products and dealers. Your role will include working with dealer requests, being a key contact for the Daimler Truck New Hire Induction Program, maintaining databases and providing support to the Dealer Network. You have the opportunity to learn and contribute to Daimler Truck training days, coordinating sessions, liaising with external providers, and assisting with dealer outreach activities.

Some key responsibilities include:

1.     Assist with dealer requests for Network Development and Training areas of responsibility

2.     Assist with course schedules, trainer requests, network requests and day-to-day course management

3.     Support our Dealer Administrators as they manage dealer staff changes and access requests

4.     Support our Dealer Learning Coordinators as they manage learning and development pathways for their dealer teams

5.     Coordinate the logistics involved in delivering training, including catering companies

6.     Act as one of the key contacts between Daimler Truck internal and dealer participants in the new hire induction process, including on-boarding, preparation of welcome letter, printing out materials and sending out necessary paperwork

7.     Provide support to the team in generating reports

A strong interest in immersing yourself in this role will lead you to achieve greater insights into this business unit, and the Truck industry as a whole as you begin your career in Business Management.
