Digital Project Manager (Junior / Trainee)

Designpluz is seeking a graduate or junior digital project manager to join their Sydney team on a full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual looking to kick start their digital project management career and be a big part of a small team, working on a wide range of websites, eCommerce, marketing, graphic design and branding projects.

About your role as a Junior Digital Project Manager

We are looking to extend our Australian team and hire an enthusiastic, well spoken, individual who has a desire to learn about Websites (static and eCommerce), Branding and Marketing. You will be a part of a boutique Australian team based in Norwest Business Park, managing Australian projects and co-ordinating with our team to deliver outstanding digital solutions and great customer service. 

You will report to our experienced project manager and be taught the ins and outs of digital project management - You will manage website design and development projects, website maintenance and update requests, as well as branding & design projects. 

As a junior digital project manager, your responsibilities will include: 

1. Understanding prospect requirements, making valuable recommendations, project scoping and proposal creation. 
2. Meeting with stakeholders at their office and conducting meetings professionally. 
3. Stakeholder workshops - Gathering project details, explaining our process and answering client questions.
4. Client account management - You will manage client expectations, remaining on-top of communication and answering questions both via email, phone and meetings. 
5. Project Management - You will develop an AGILE based project plan using Azure DevOps, assign tasks to our team members, manage deliverables and timelines, staying within budget. You will brief the team on new projects/tasks by writing clear and simple instructions. You will hold standups with the team as well as online meetings to discuss project deliverables and timelines.
6. Quality Assurance - you will review deliverables and provide feedback to the team to achieve desirable outcomes before notifying clients. 
7. Project Delivery - You will work with our team to launch websites, deliver brand presentations, make website updates & more. You will maintain client relationships into the future after project completion. 
8. Content Writing - You will write content for different mediums such as Google Ads, blog posts, social media posts, EDMs and more. 

The successful candidate:

1. Has Australian citizenship or is a PR holder.
2. Has outstanding communication, both written and verbal and has English as their first language. Articulates clearly and concisely. 
3. Has excellent comprehension skills, can understand client tone and remain professional throughout client communications. 
4. Can work with an off-shore, in-house team through written and online video communication only. 
5. Is enthusiastic about learning digital project management practices, AGILE development methodologies, UI/UX, website and branding principles. 
6. Has an understanding of web related technologies such as: WordPress, Domains & DNS, Website Hosting, Website Functionalities and more. Has an eagerness to understand custom software development principles in future. 
7. Google Marketing Fundamentals - Search Engine Optimisation, Google Ads, Google Analytics and more. 
8. Has a basic understanding of digital marketing principles such as keywords, conversions, call to actions and more.  
9. Is career driven, focused and punctual 
10. Results-driven and able to encourage team members to go above and beyond to deliver. 
11. Has a drivers license and their own transportation.
12. Does not necessarily have past experience in digital project management.
