 As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing the Elevate program across Australia. The last few years have been an exhilarating journey for us: we have expanded globally, doubled our revenue and our profit, opened operations across 4 continents; tripled our product lines; tripled our headcount; and won a hatful of awards. However, most importantly, we’ve changed the lives of 1 million students in some of the world’s most under-resourced areas. We do this by providing engaging and dynamic education programs. And we’re just getting started!

The Role

​You will be selling a product that has a 22-year track record in improving student and school performance and that has the highest level of brand recognition in the industry. You will work closely with the General Manager, be involved in the business at a strategic level, provide input into the direction of the company, have opportunities to pursue a career in our international offices and most importantly, gain valuable skills as the company continues to grow in Australia and overseas.

The role would be ideal for a business graduate who has a passion for sales and making a difference in students’ lives.

You'll be responsible for:

  • ​Generating leads and obtaining scheduled meetings with school administrators;
  • Building strong client relationships with school administrators, by understanding and conveying Elevate's value proposition for students, teachers and parents;
  • Presenting engaging pitches about Elevates services;
  • Maintaining a sales pipeline & database via Salesforce;
  • Processing client bookings;
  • Establishing marketing and sales plans to inform strategic direction

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Have the ability to create rapport quickly;
  • Be innovative, self-motivating and ambitious;
  • Have exceptional time management and organisational skills;
  • Be curious and have a willingness to learn
