Gen Physio Clinicians have been supporting the community with their health goals since we first began in 2015, and we are welcoming graduates to apply for our Occupational New Graduate program for 2025! We have new graduate roles available across Queensland and Victoria

New Graduate Occupational Therapy at Gen Physio

Our Occupational Therapists provide mobile community-based services – where we provide individualized treatment plans to clients in various community settings such as early childcare centers, schools, aged care facilities and homes and parks just to name a few – no two days are the same in community care!

Our OT team support a diverse caseload of care to our NDIS, HCP and private clients, with your caseload built around your experience and in a time frame that is tailored to your developing skills and abilities as a graduate. We are proud to offer an Occupational Therapy new graduate program that has been built by our experienced OT team, who know what it is like to start your new graduate journey.

What support do we offer our new graduates? 

• Enjoy catching up with your discipline specific team fortnightly to participate in in-house professional development presentations, walk through complex cases, tackle challenging questions, and debrief sessions.
• Weekly supervision with experienced clinicians, covering both paediatrics and adult populations, to support clinicians with their caseload.
• Mentoring opportunities from experienced Occupational Therapists
• Substantial PD allowance for both individual and whole team education.
• Paid study leave, internal training opportunities and a big emphasis on your development.
• Enjoy catching up with your multidisciplinary team weekly to receive organizational updates, walk through complex cases and expand your knowledge about other allied health professions, ultimately providing you with the knowledge that will enable you to provide better wholistic care for your clients.

 Requirements post-graduation:

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration
• National Police Check, First Aid, and CPR (or willing to obtain) 
• Public Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain) 
• NDIS Workers screening (or willing to obtain) 
• Current driver's license
• Ability to legally work in Australia
