New Graduate Speech Pathology at Gen Physio
Our passionate team of Speechies provide mobile community-based care to clients across a variety of settings including schools, childcare centers, aged care, in home, parks and so many more areas - out in the community there is never a dull moment!


Our Speech team support a diverse caseload of care to our NDIS, HCP and private clients, with your caseload built around your experience and in a time frame that is tailored to your developing skills and abilities as a graduate. Our team know first-hand what it's like to go from university into working world, and are here to make that journey a positive one for you.


What support do we offer our new graduates? 

  • Enjoy catching up with your discipline specific team fortnightly to participate in in-house professional development presentations, walk through complex cases, tackle challenging questions, and debrief sessions.
  • Weekly supervision with experienced clinicians, covering both paediatrics and adult populations, to support clinicians with their caseload.
  • Mentoring opportunities from experienced Speech Pathologists including external mentoring
  • Substantial PD allowance for both individual and whole team education.
  • Paid study leave, internal training opportunities and a big emphasis on your development.
  • Enjoy catching up with your multidisciplinary team weekly to receive organizational updates, walk through complex cases and expand your knowledge about other allied health professions, ultimately providing you with the knowledge that will enable you to provide better wholistic care for your clients.

Requirements post-graduation:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • SPA registration
  • National Police Check, First Aid, and CPR (or willing to obtain) 
  • Public Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain) 
  • Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Workers screening (or willing to obtain) 
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to legally work in Australia
