2025 HKEX Technology Summer Internship Programme

HKEX Summer Internship Programme offer interns a unique experience in global markets, with the opportunity to learn, develop new skills, take on direct responsibility for work and projects, and be part of a fun and ambitious team right at the heart of global markets. In joining us, you will gain insight into life at work at HKEX, while developing practical on-the-job experience. 

The programme kicks off in June and continues through into August. The maximum employment period for each intern is 10 weeks.

Applications for the 2025 HKEX Technology Summer Internship will open from 19 Sept 2024 till on 20 Oct 2024. 

If you are:

• Penultimate year students (graduating in between Sept 2025 to July 2026) from IT, Computer Science or related disciplines
• Be on track for a minimum 3.5 GPA; 2:1 Honours or equivalent
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and interest in global financial markets
• Possess strong sense of ownership, excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills 
• Open-minded to embrace new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and work well as a team
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
