About this Role

As a Graduate Extreme Weather Coordinator, you will provide operational support for a collective industry response to large-scale extreme weather events and catastrophes. 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Providing operational and administrative support to coordinate and action key catastrophe response activities.
  • Administrative activities such as setting up meetings, coordinating community events and briefings, establishing agendas and record keeping. 
  • Researching and synthesising information to identify trends and develop briefings, presentations, and reports.
  • Assisting in the overall project management to ensure deliverables are being met.
  • Opportunity to travel to disaster affected communities to provide support to ICA and the  ndustry event response. 
  • Assisting in stakeholder engagement

About you

You will be in your final year of study or a recent graduate. Rather than looking for an applicant with a particular degree, we are focused on hiring someone who is:

  • Organised and can manage a variety of tasks at once.
  • Interested in climate change, weather events, or consumer outcomes. 
  • Keen to take what they have learnt from university and build on their working experience. 
  • Interested to learn more about the insurance industry and corporate organisations
