Our program: 

  • Comprehensive two-year program designed to develop future leaders in NSLHD and across NSW Health. 
  • Combines practical work experience supported by a fully funded Master of Health Leadership and Management at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). 
  • Graduates will receive unparalleled opportunities to create authentic and valuable working relationships with senior health executives across NSLHD.

  • A recent graduate who has completed any undergraduate degree.
  • Must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident. 

What you will be doing? 

  • Developing your leadership and problem-solving skills through projects that drive change and innovation.
  • Working with senior executives on complex strategic or operational issues within the public health system.

Selection Criteria

  1. Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident. 
  2. Hold a recent undergraduate degree from a recognised University – please attach university transcripts, an updated CV, and Cover Letter. 
  3. Demonstrate a high level of motivation for a career in health service management.
  4. Demonstrate ability to proactively manage competing priorities and adhere to strict timelines. 
  5. Demonstrate an ability to show initiative and to gather and critically analyse complex information to identify and implement solutions to challenges.
