ORIMA Research is a private Australian-owned market and social research firm that provides research, data analytics, organisational performance improvement and related advisory services. We are a genuine public sector research specialist, with over 90% of our clients in the government sector. Established in 1996, we now have around 70 professional staff working across four offices in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a great opportunity for an individual who is keen to learn and looking to start a career in IT support.  You will work in a small, high performing team that is a significant contributor to ORIMA’s work. We are looking for a problem solver who can take a logical, thorough and accurate approach to their work and who has a strong customer service focus. 

Tasks will include setting up new computers and user accounts, software and hardware support, basic documentation, troubleshooting network connections, etc. Training will be provided.

We have a collegiate, collaborative office-based culture and are looking for someone to work on-site in our Collingwood office. This role will support our nationwide research teams to deliver excellent evidenced based outcomes for our public sector clients in understanding the views of Australians across diverse groups and topic areas.

ABOUT YOU

Residency status:  

• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia considered 

Qualifications:

• IT-related degree (recent or upcoming graduates welcome)
• 1-2 years relevant work experience highly regarded
