About the role:

As a Graduate Accountant, your responsibilities will include project accounting, ledger reconciliation and maintenance, budgeting, statutory and month end reporting. Day to day duties include: 

  • Analyse and maintain P&L and balance sheet in accordance with Accounting, Statutory and Corporate Standards
  • Review and report on AR and AP ledgers - in liaison with the Accounts Officer 
  • Support operational business units with transactional and ad hoc reporting 
  • Assist with preparing monthly project costings 
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Manage and provide support in the maintenance of the corporate credit cards 
  • Prepare and post month-end accruals and prepayments 
  • Perform month end and annual GL reconciliations and assist with annual audits 
  • Assist with annual stocktake processes
  • Assist in maintaining the Fixed Assets Register 
  • Analyse accounting processes and contribute to innovation and improvement strategies 

About you:

  • Graduate in Accounting or Finance related at Bachelor level 
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities with the ability to problem solve 
  • Advanced level of computer literacy - Microsoft suite, and online Banking software 
  • Experience with medium to large EMS systems (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • A good team player, who can communicate and collaborate positively
