Part-Time Undergraduate Engineer

RSA's Mechanical Engineering department (RKR) has the ability to provide full life cycle structural projects due to it's in-house fabrication capabilities based in Horsley Park. RKR Engineering typically deliver structural steel projects for the rail sector, ranging from custom designed fabrications to design and manufacture of rail plant. As a hands-on operation, candidates will be given the opportunity to work on site with other engineers, supervisors and trade staff.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Assist senior project managers with ongoing projects.

· Drafting of structural steel fabrications.

· Assist with and lead small scale projects.

· Perform site work leadership roles.

Selection Criteria:

· Good communication skills 

· Strong SolidWorks modelling and drafting skills.

· Analytical, thorough, and detailed in your approach with an eagerness to get involved and learn.

· Working towards a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management is required.
