About the role

The Sustainability & Packaging Graduate is responsible for the creation, management, and documentation of packaging specifications, in line with sustainability targets.  The position will also implement sustainability projects to improve environmental outcomes across the business. This is diverse role that will offer you a step in Contractor Management and give exposure to APCO (Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation) auditing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed packaging and product specifications 
  • Implement and manage packaging specifications within our ERP system BC
  • Liaise with all stakeholders to identify improvements for existing packaging formats using best practice guidelines such as the Sustainable Packaging Guidelines 
  • Provide support and leadership to stakeholders for sustainability initiatives being implemented within the business
  • Promote sustainable practices across the business
  • Content Writing to promote our successes within ESG (Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance) assisting with storytelling element of our strategy 
  • Liaise across HSEQ and get involved in projects across the wider team
  • Ensure all sustainability projects are documented and relevant systems updated
  • Support the development of the annual APCO (Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation) report and action plan
  • Help develop and document key sustainable performance measures for the business
  • Champion and help drive sustainable improvements across the business
