Our 12-week Summer Placement Program is a paid program and is designed to give you work exposure and experience as you embark on your professional career journey. During the program, you’ll unlock a world of possibilities from within the ever-advancing water industry, and work towards delivering sustainable water and sewage solutions whilst also positively impacting communities across Tasmania.

Here's what you can expect from our Summer Placement program:

Purposeful Work: Join a statewide team that is passionate about sustainability and making a difference. Our corporate strategy is built on serving our community, ensuring that every team and project contributes to better outcomes for Tasmanians and a more sustainable future.

Hands-On Experience: You will work alongside industry experts and subject matter experts in the field to gain valuable experience and provide insights on real-world projects that have a direct impact on water quality, infrastructure development, and environmental conservation in Tasmania.

Placement Opportunities: Commencing in mid-November, we have 10 roles available across our business including:

  • Marketing and Employer Branding
  • ICT and Cyber (Analysis and Security)
  • Business Management
  • Engineering (Civil, Environmental and Mechanical)
  • Law and Governance
  • Geospatial Science and Information Systems
  • Environmental Science
