Supply Chain
Engineering
Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy

A career in Supply Chain at The Arnott’s Group offers a breadth of experience and offers an opportunity to experience an end-to-end supply chain, which consists of Quality, Engineering, Supply and Demand Planning, Safety, Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy, Procurement, Logistics, Sustainability and Continuous Improvement.

Learning opportunities: With such a range of professions, and advanced, world-class technology and processes throughout our Supply Chain, the opportunities for graduates to learn and to grow their careers are almost endless!

For Engineering graduates this includes experience in continuous improvement, project management, technical troubleshooting and production management systems.

For Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy graduates this includes occupational rehabilitation practices, health and wellbeing programs, ergonomic assessment in the workplace and job task analysis.

Finance

The Arnott’s Finance team is responsible for accounting and reporting, tax and treasury, managing controls and risks, and strategic financial management, where data is turned into insights which enable business decisions to be made.

Learning opportunities for graduates in Finance will be plentiful. You’ll gain insight into our growing and dynamic business, understand the core drivers of an FMCG business, and have the chance to see our annual planning process, learning about achieving short-term targets while delivering sustainable long-term growth.

Marketing

Being a part of our Marketing team means becoming a custodian of some of Australia’s most iconic brands!

Learning opportunities for Graduates in Marketing will include brand strategy and execution, innovation, working with agency partners, social and digital, and tracking brand performance. All while delighting millions of our customers!

Sales

The Arnott’s Group sales team are the drivers of our commercial results, which are achieved by placing customers and consumers at the heart of our business. The team works across various functions of the business and have high touch points with both internal and external stakeholders.

Learning opportunities for Sales graduates will include how to truly partner with our retailers to unlock sales capabilities, supporting our field sales teams, and using data analysis for insights on Category performance and clear market understanding.

People & Culture

At the Arnott’s Group, the People & Culture team enables a culture of high performance, with a focus on growing our employees, building capabilities, and providing an environment that empowers employees to truly make an impact by bringing their best to work every day!

Locations for 2023

For our 2023 intake we have opportunities across Australia and New Zealand in the following locations: North Strathfield and Huntingwood in NSW, Shepparton in VIC, Marleston in SA, Virginia in QLD and Auckland in NZ.

Duration

The 2023 Graduate Program will commence in February and run for 9-months.

Graduates who demonstrate high performance and make a significant impact will be offered permanent positions within the 9 month program.

Application Process

The assessment process will comprise of four steps:

  1. Online Testing | Graduates reaching this stage will be asked to complete online tests, which will measure aptitude and behaviours that align to the unique needs of the Arnott’s Graduate Program.  Once you have completed these assessments, you will receive feedback on how you went.
  2. Video Interview | Following online testing, aligned candidates will be invited to record a video in response to a series of questions
  3. Assessment Centre | With everyone’s safety in mind, we will be conducting our assessment centres online in a virtual environment. The Assessment Centres will involve a group activity and an interview.
  4. Pre-Employment Checks | The final part of our process will be to conduct reference checks, pre-employment medicals, and confirm your right to work in Australia or New Zealand.

Doing your best

We anticipate a strong response so the selection process will be competitive. Remember we’re looking for trailblazers, so don’t leave anything behind at any stage of the process! It’s your time to SHINE!

Be at your best on the day of the Assessment Centre. Be well rested, make sure you enjoy yourself, and embrace the challenge and the technology.

Some practical ideas for the Assessment Centre include: 

  • Remove any distractions
  • Find a comfortable quiet space where you won’t be interrupted
  • Test any technology and links ahead of time
  • Try to use a laptop rather than a phone
  • Make sure you have a strong and stable internet connection

Camp Quality – since 2008, The Arnott’s Foundation has raised more than $4.5 million for Camp Quality, helping the charity with their mission to give kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again.

Foodbank – Arnott’s Biscuits has been a proud supporter of Foodbank Australia for more than 10 years donating tonnes of kilograms of food to families in need over this time.

Driver Reviver – Arnott’s Biscuits proudly support Driver Reviver volunteers save lives across Australia. Each holiday season up to 220 Driver Reviver sites open across Australia. They offer a free cup of hot tea, coffee, an Arnott’s biscuit and most importantly, a chance to revive so you reach your destination safe and sound.

Fairy Sparkle – The Arnott’s Foundation has been supporting Fairy Sparkle for over 10 years, assisting her establish “Fairy Gardens” at hospitals in NSW and Queensland. Most recently, with the support of The Arnott’s Foundation, Fairy Sparkle has worked on the ”happy garden” project, which has seen eight separate gardens built in hospitals around Sydney. The project aims to create a sanctuary outside the ward, where patients and their families can go to relax, seek inspiration, and interact as a “normal” family.
