We’re looking for Chemical / Process Engineering undergraduates in their penultimate year of study to join our paid 12 week summer internship program running from November 2024 to February 2025. This role will work across two teams - Chemical/Fuels and Asset Advisory.

As part of the Worley Graduate Community you will be supervised and mentored by experienced staff within the process engineering department. This role will provide you with experience in the delivery of engineering services to Worley and its customers.

What you’ll do

  • Participate in the delivery of process engineering services that meet Worley', its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Assist in performing process engineering services such as contributing to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions, and assisting with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
  • Support proposal development and business development activities including building trust based relationships with clients
  • Support and attend site visits and surveys
  • Participate in group research activities

What you’ll bring

To be considered for this role you will need to be undertaking a recognized, relevant engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a professional Engineer and be in your penultimate year of study.

  • Some knowledge of technical and practical process engineering skills.
  • Some knowledge of the fundamental requirements of process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Developing skills in process engineering specific software.
  • Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office.
