GradConnection, the global leader in supporting international student employability, is proud to welcome the University of San Diego (USD) to its growing network of global university partners. All University of San Diego international students will have access to GradConnection’s exclusive international jobs portal which features nearly 13,000 global internships and entry-level opportunities with a robust network of employers in more than 30 countries.

With nearly 800 international students from over 70 countries attending USD, the institution has a rich and culturally diverse campus. Under the leadership of the Provost and Board of Trustees, USD has made a significant investment in the professional development of its students. “Our mission is to support students and alumni in developing and achieving career goals that lead to meaningful lives. Now more than ever, we value a partnership like that of GradConnection who can help our students and alumni make connections for career opportunities. It's clear that GradConnection creates powerful partnerships. We're excited to allow our students to tap into this valuable network, said Robin Darmon, Senior Director of the Career Development Center.”

According to Wesley Thorne II, Head of University Partnerships for GradConnection, a partnership with USD made perfect sense for the global higher education technology solutions company. “At GradConnection, we are fortunate to work with a growing number of international employers located in countries where USD international students call home,” said Thorne II. “During these uncertain times, it’s critical for universities to leverage every potential resource to open up access to professional opportunities for their students and alumni. USD is taking this charge seriously.”

In addition to the global jobs portal, USD students will have access to other support resources, including webinars and updates on global labor market trends. Darmon, who has elevated career education and support for professional development throughout USD’s campus with the help of an extremely dedicated team, says she is looking forward to the benefits awaiting USD. “Our international students are excited by the breadth of opportunities available to them thanks to the incredible relationships and connections with GradConnection. Our goal is to increase the confidence of our international students. They now have a catalyst to jumpstart their network in a powerful way!” She added, “The University of San Diego's number one goal as an institution is to enhance student learning and success. The partnership we now enjoy with GradConnection is integral in achieving this goal for our students and alumni.”
