How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As our new Graduate Surveyor, you’ll be a vital part of the QLD Geospatial team who are working on a mix of field and office-based activities delivering a variety of projects changing the way we deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable.

Your role will include:

  • Performing topographic surveys using GPS and Total Station survey equipment (we use Leica) 
  • Utilising 12D software and other CAD packages 
  • Exposure to Laser Scanning and UAV technologies 
  • Current Driver's licence (car is provided) 
  • An ability and desire to occasionally travel within Queensland and Australia (mostly during the week)

What are we looking for from you?

First and foremost, you will be ready to make an impact. You’ll have a genuine passion for surveying and enjoy working in a team environment on large and exciting infrastructure projects.  

You’ll have, or will be graduating soon with a formal qualification in: 

  • Surveying/ Geospatial Engineering or related double degree. 
  • Will have completed all studies and have the ability to work full time from February 2024.
