Graduate program salary and super
Our graduate program offers a starting salary of $70,280, plus 15.4% super. Once you complete the program, you’ll advance to the next APS level, and get a pay rise! Your salary will be $78,290, plus 15.4% super and, as an APS4 officer within the ATO, you can earn up to $84,971, plus 15.4% super.

What you’ll do

Your work will optimise services that in turn help your community. You’ll be part of a globally recognised, leading data capability. Your work will contribute to our design solutions that turn problems upside down and build cutting-edge systems.
You could:
- develop models to understand risk and opportunity by applying the latest techniques
- use analytics and leverage data to provide valuable analysis and insights
- design the system around verifiable data and manage data through its lifecycle, from creation, to discovery, to matching
- manage external strategic data relationships and provide advice on governance, ethics, and best practice.
You’ll receive tailored training and mentoring from subject matter experts to enable you to reach your full potential.

Who can apply
To be eligible to apply, you must have completed your university degree within the last five years or be in your final year of study. At the time of commencing our program, you must have completed all your course requirements.
The program starts in February 2025. You must be an Australian citizen and willing to undergo police, character and health checks as required.
