Cadet Engineer - Project ManagementTemporary Fixed Term Contract (Jan 2026)19-day 4-week cycle (Variable Day Off)3rd and 4th Year Graduates Encouraged to Apply!The Opportunity Assist Engineers and Technical staff in completing a variety of tasks associated with Investigation, surveying, planning, design, drafting and cost estimation of local government infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant drafting, engineering and environmental legislation, standards, guidelines and policies (local, state and national). Projects include roads, intersections, roundabouts, carparks, pedestrian facilities, shared paths, sporting & recreation facilities, buildings & bridges, stormwater drainage structures & pipelines, water supply & sewer pipelines & structures, waste management facilities & cemeteries, structural and architectural projects. Essential Criteria

1. Enrolled in Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Project Management or similar (3rd or 4th year graduates highly desirable)
2. Higher School Certificate;
3. Good oral and written and interpersonal communication skills;
4. Ability to work effectively in a team in a formal structured environment;
5. Demonstrated computer skills (MS office) and MapInfo;
6. Highly developed planning and time management skills;
7. Understanding of WHS legislation and responsibilities; and
8. Current Class C Drivers Licence or probationary licence
