Our Project Delivery branch is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, Cadet Engineer to join our team! Take advantage of Council’s fantastic training and career development opportunities. You will be assisting Engineers and Technical staff in completing a variety of tasks associated with investigation, surveying, planning, design, drafting and cost estimation of local government infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant drafting, engineering and environmental legislation, standards, guidelines and policies (local, state and national). Essential Criteria
  1. Enrolled in Bachelor of Civil Engineering - University, TAFE or equivalent study in Civil Engineering or similar;
  2. Higher School Certificate;
  3. Good oral and written and interpersonal communication skills;
  4. Ability to work effectively in a team in a formal structured environment;
  5. Demonstrated computer skills (MS office) and MapInfo;
  6. Highly developed planning and time management skills;
  7. Understanding of WHS legislation and responsibilities; and
  8. Current Class C Drivers Licence or probationary licence
