About the Role

Wollondilly Shire Council has a fantastic opportunity for graduate or student nearing the completion of their engineering degree to gain hands on experience with the support of a team of Development Engineers.  Reporting to the Engineering Development Team Leader, the successful candidate will be involved in the assessment and approval of engineering design drawings, construction audits and the final acceptance of works on behalf of Council.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in final year or completed Degree qualifications Civil Engineering related discipline.
  • Drivers Licence.
  • NSW White Card for construction works.
  • Demonstrated ability to show initiative and innovation when investigating, analysing & solving problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, research and provide practical solutions to technical problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing workloads.
