The City Survey team is seeking a motivated Graduate Surveyor with a desire to further their cadastral surveying skills. We have a long history of applying our surveying skills to manage an extensive network of survey assets and deliver survey products to ensure that land in the City is properly managed and the needs of our community are met.

 

You will work on unique cadastral surveying projects with a team of Registered Surveyors and Survey Technicians. You will use the latest surveying technologies including robotic total stations, terrestrial laser scanners, GNSS and LiDAR, to research, collect and process survey data to help us manage our network and to bring the City’s capital works projects to life.

 

To be successful you will have recently completed a degree in Surveying or equivalent.  You will also:

be eligible to enrol or already be enrolled as a candidate surveyor with the NSW Board of Surveying and Spatial Information (BOSSI),have sound knowledge of surveying principles and standards,have sound knowledge of surveying and Microsoft Office software,have a good level of written and oral communication skills,hold a current Australian Driver Licence.
