- Developing and communicating clear forward work programs for the Department and individual staff.

- Ensure that all staff have clearly defined responsibilities, objectives and performance criteria and regular feedback is provided.
- Constructing, maintaining and renewing infrastructure in accordance with the Operational Plan and asset management plans for road, drain, bridge and recreational assets.
- Maintaining compliance to state and federal requirements and other relevant standards
- Responding to community members regarding issues and complaints raised relevant to the role.
- Providing support and advice to assist long term asset planning and investigation & design services.
- Supporting and promoting Council’s Work Health Safety Management System (WHSMS).
- Permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week with 19-day month
