 About the Role

As a Graduate Information Technology and Systems professional, you will be exposed to various duties undertaken in the field of support. Your typical day may be out in the field maintaining and repairing the onsite desktop fleet and helping users with their everyday computer-related issues or helping develop solutions to business problems by analysing business functions for opportunities to improve processes or systems. No matter which might be, you will assist with experienced IT&S team to create right setup technologically and make a positive difference for optimal business performance across our mine sites.

Residential Hunter Valley, NSW.   From wine tasting in Australia’s oldest wine region to bushwalking in World Heritage wilderness, the Hunter is an appealing region for many. Residents have easy access to acclaimed restaurants, beautiful beaches, festivals, heritage and ancient rainforest in the Hunter Valley, Upper Hunter and Barrington Tops. With Newcastle and Sydney an easy drive away, you can enjoy the best of both world’s having access to all of what our vibrant city and regional lifestyles can offer.

Residential Mudgee, NSW.   Mudgee residents enjoy access to many lifestyle attractions and relish in the four distinct seasons. This region offers breath-taking natural beauty, a vibrant winery area, locally grown food produce and a real community with heart and soul. Residential Mackay region, QLD. One of Australia’s fastest-growing regions that offers affordable “big city standard” services and housing in a relaxed and idyllic destination. The area offers a central location with ease of access by air, road and rail. With close proximity to the fifth busiest airport in Queensland, Mackay is serviced by more than 110 flights weekly, with more than 70 of those providing the 1.5-hour flight between Brisbane and Mackay. With 31 beaches, pristine rainforests and easy access to nearby islands, the greater Mackay region offers a great work/life balance.

Residential   Emerald region, QLD. A number of our sites are located in the Central Highlands region of Central Queensland, Australia. The region encompasses an area of around 60 000 square kilometres, making it just short of the size of Tasmania. Not only is the region home to a globally competitive coal mining industry, it also has a robust and resilient agriculture and horticultural industries. Residents have access to major health and education services. There’s access to many natural attractions including camping, fishing and other water recreational activities. For access to the beach and bigger shops, it’s approximately three-hours’ drive to the coast and there are many air services to Brisbane.        

 About You

• A Bachelor of Information Technology/Computer Science or similar (prior to commencement)
