ROLE OVERVIEW
As an Intern Accountant you will be responsible for the timely processing of invoices, expense claims, and payments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of intercompany recharging process.
- Preparation of payment documentation for local and overseas suppliers via EFT or wire transfer.
- Management of accounts payable function including invoice approvals and payments.
- Maintenance of employee expense claims.
- Organizing supporting documents to the trial balance work papers; prepares information for these audits.
- Assist with month end and year-end ledger close.
- Preparation of monthly bank and month end journals into Oracle JD Edwards accounting system across group entities.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Working towards or recently completed a relevant degree in finance or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with an eagerness to learn.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Interest in the property industry.
- Knowledge working with Oracle JD Edwards is an advantage but not essential.
